Updates

Every software update we’ve shipped to the Box, newest first. Updates never install on their own: you choose when.

  1. September 29, 2026Version 0.2.6
    • A new foundation for updates: the whole system now updates as one tested image, and goes back to the last working version on its own if something fails.
    • Remote login over your home network is now off unless you turn it on.
    • You can stage an update now and let it install overnight.
  2. August 26, 2026Version 0.1.19
    • Qwen 3.8 27B is in the Model Store, and it can read images.
    • The assistant now uses the Box's full context window, so it can keep much more of a long conversation or document in mind.
    • Model downloads pick up where they left off if they're interrupted.
  3. August 19, 2026Version 0.1.17
    • Steadier Wi-Fi.
    • Fixes to Settings, restoring a backup, and factory reset.
